I was a permanent member of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, teaching at the VCA and Melbourne Uni over many years. I currently teach at, Melbourne Girls Grammar and Rudolph Steiner School. I also teach violin and viola privately, from home Rosanna.

I mainly teach folk styles. Specialise in klezmer. also introduction to celtic, american, gypsy, middle-eastern fiddle. options include learning to play without music, introduction to improvising. I am classically trained and teach some classical or mix classical technique with folk.

I have a large private studio, Teaching violin mostly but also teach cello and viola with links to teachers in Hobart to make a smooth transition to advanced studies for students on these two instruments. I am conductor of a community orchestra with 3 orchestras and director of a string camp held in January each year which has around 150 students spread over 4 orchestras.
