The String Note tutor App and new Music for String Orchestra

I am joining forces with Lachlan Dent, Sophia Lai and Emma Rodda to present Lachlan’s new string note tutor app, as well as discussing what to do in a school program such as Steiner that does not use technology in teaching. We will also present new works for string orchestra by Lachlan and Mila Li. Mila Li has written a comprehensive Suite now available at The Australian Music Centre that the Crossing Machine has toured in Melbourne and Parramatta.

Marianne Rothschild is performed regularly on ABC FM with her CD with Glenn Riddle The Sky is Melting and her solo CD From Earth To Sky. She is also the founder of The Crossing Machine string quartet She is a passionate teacher in mainstream and a Steiner school. She sees the benefit of new technology teaching apps but also sees the old school approach is highly beneficial in the Steiner setting. Lachlan Dent is a passionate cello teacher at Wesley College Melbourne and a sought after freelance cellist.
